Role Summary:

The Employee Engagement Specialist is the driving force behind our corporate culture and employee experience. The job holder is responsible for supporting and leading local HR initiatives, onboarding experiences, HR communications, and a comprehensive calendar of employee engagement activities that align with the regional HR engagement agenda.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of a dynamic annual employee engagement calendar, including Town Halls, Family Days, and Health & Wellbeing initiatives.
• Administer and champion corporate recognition programs, including Employee of the Month, Employee of the Quarter, Employee of the Year, Long Service Awards, and Other internal Awards.
• Organize and manage internal corporate sports and medical events, such as football and padel tournaments, as well as running and riding events.
• Handle internal HR communications effectively, ensuring alignment, clarity, and active participation across all departments and management levels.
• Coordinate comprehensive onboarding activities, ensuring the timely and welcoming delivery of orientation sessions and materials for all new hires.
• Manage logistics, vendor relationships, and budget tracking for all engagement activities and corporate events.
• Partner with the broader HR team to launch localized HR initiatives that drive motivation, team morale, and cultural transformation.
• Coordinate internship programs, sponsorships, and educational institution collaborations to foster early career engagement and community presence.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

• University Graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field).
• Minimum of 1–3 years of progressive experience specifically focused on employee engagement, internal communications, or corporate event management, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Exceptional English language proficiency (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
• Proven track record in conceptualizing, planning, and successfully executing large-scale corporate events and employee recognition programs.
• Excellent understanding of employee engagement best practices and workplace culture enhancement.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., HRMD, SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD) is preferred.
• High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism when handling internal HR matters and employee data.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people at all levels of the organization in a positive and forward-thinking manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for event planning, budgeting, and internal presentations.
