Appian Consultant (FMS)

Responsibilities

• Understand user requirements and design and develop Appian solutions.
• Deliver complex development assignments efficiently and comprehensively.
• Improve the quality, speed, and productivity of Appian development work.
• Present work and solutions to product owners and other stakeholders.
• Map database changes to Appian CDT through XSD.
• Follow project methodologies, SDLC processes, deployment cycles, team protocols, and supervisor or client direction.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of software development experience, preferably with Appian exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, or computer science.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required by the first day of employment.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to work independently and within a small team.
• Ability to understand user requirements and deliver working code.
• Basic SQL DDL and DML knowledge, including create, update, delete, and select operations.
• General knowledge of the assigned customer domain, solution set, or internal business function.
• Competency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Appian Level 1 certification and Agile certification are preferred or expected as specified.
• Ability to follow project processes, protocols, and directions diligently.
