About the Role:

We’re looking for an Employer Branding & Internal Communications Specialist to strengthen Axis’s employer brand and create clear, engaging communication experiences for our employees and candidates.

In this role, you will develop and execute employer branding initiatives, internal communications campaigns, employee engagement content, and talent attraction materials that reflect Axis’s culture, values, and mission. You will work closely with People, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and business leaders to ensure our employer brand is consistent, authentic, and compelling across every touchpoint.

This role combines strategic planning, storytelling, content creation, campaign execution, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced technology and fintech environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Axis’s employer branding strategy across candidate, employee, and external audiences.

• Plan and deliver internal communications campaigns that support company priorities, culture, engagement, and organizational change.

• Create compelling content for internal channels, including announcements, newsletters, intranet pages, employee campaigns, leadership communications, and town halls.

• Develop employer branding content for career pages, job descriptions, social media, recruitment campaigns, events, and employee storytelling initiatives.

• Build and maintain a consistent employer brand voice, messaging framework, and visual direction in partnership with Marketing and People teams.

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to create recruitment marketing campaigns that attract qualified and diverse talent.

• Partner with employees and leaders to identify and share authentic stories about Axis’s culture, people, impact, and workplace experience.

• Manage internal communications calendars and coordinate timely, accurate, and engaging messaging across relevant channels.

• Support employee engagement initiatives, culture programs, onboarding communications, recognition campaigns, and company events.

• Prepare communication materials for leadership, including presentations, talking points, email messages, and town hall content.

• Coordinate employer branding activities such as career fairs, university partnerships, employee events, community initiatives, and industry forums.

• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, creative partners, and communication platforms.

• Monitor employer brand presence across social media, review platforms, career sites, and other relevant channels.

• Track and report on employer branding and internal communications performance using relevant engagement, reach, hiring, and feedback metrics.

• Gather employee feedback and communication insights to improve messaging, channels, and employee experience.

• Ensure all communications are clear, inclusive, consistent, and aligned with Axis’s values and brand standards.

• Stay current on employer branding, employee engagement, internal communications, recruitment marketing, and workplace culture trends.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in employer branding, internal communications, employee engagement, recruitment marketing, corporate communications, or a related field.

• Experience developing and executing employer branding or internal communications strategies and campaigns.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to tone, clarity, grammar, and detail.

• Strong storytelling and content development skills across digital, written, and presentation formats.

• Experience creating content for internal communication channels, social media, career pages, newsletters, and employee campaigns.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders.

• Ability to translate complex business, organizational, or technical information into clear and engaging messages.

• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with employees, leaders, People teams, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition.

• Good understanding of employer brand positioning, employee experience, candidate experience, and organizational culture.

• Proficiency with communication, collaboration, presentation, and content creation tools.

• Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information professionally.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, technology, or a high-growth startup environment .

• Experience managing employer branding campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, career platforms, and other digital channels.

• Experience with employee engagement surveys, communication analytics, and employer brand measurement.

• Experience producing video, photography, visual content, or employee-generated content.

• Experience supporting change management, organizational transformation, or culture initiatives.

• Experience organizing town halls, employee events, career fairs, and community programs.

• Familiarity with design and content tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar platforms.

• Experience working with HRIS, intranet, email marketing, employee engagement, or internal communications platforms.

• Knowledge of inclusive communications and practices that support diverse and equitable employee experiences.
