Pre-Sales Engineer

- Assist in analyzing market trends, customer requirements, and competitor offerings to identify product opportunities.

- Support the assessment of customer needs and recommend suitable truck and bus specifications and configurations.

- Provide technical product information and sales support to the sales team.

- Assist in preparing technical quotations, product comparisons, and pricing proposals.

- Coordinate with Scania and internal departments to obtain product specifications, technical data, and pricing information.

- Support the sales team in customer meetings by providing technical explanations and product recommendations.

- Prepare product presentations and conduct technical product demonstrations when required.

- Support the introduction of new truck and bus models, ensuring the availability of accurate product information and documentation.

- Assist in obtaining and maintaining product type approvals and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

- Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market developments to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field with Strong Automotive Knowledge.

1–3 years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical support, preferably within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.

(Driven fresh graduates with strong Automotive or commercial vehicle knowledge are encouraged to apply.)

Strong analytical ability, vehicle technical knowledge, and problem-solving mindset.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, and fluency in written and spoken English

Ability to understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
