Fixed Income Portfolio Assistant Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Fixed Income Portfolio Assistant Manager to join our Investment Team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fixed income investments, liquidity management, financial market analysis and investment execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor daily cash flows and make sure there is enough liquidity for operational needs.
- Execute fixed income transactions, securing competitive pricing and efficient market execution.
- Prepare short- and long-term cash flow and liquidity forecasts.
- Analyze financial markets, economic indicators and market data to support investment decisions.
- Develop and implement investment strategies in line with the company's objectives and risk appetite.
- Monitor portfolio performance, assess investment risks and identify new investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of experience in fixed income investments, treasury or portfolio management.
- Strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, such as treasury bills, bonds and sukuk.
- Solid experience in liquidity management and cash flow forecasting.
- Strong financial market analysis and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Close attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in banking, asset management or an investment firm is preferred.
