Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of electrical engineering building services design and calculations using Revit software.
- Prepare schedules, and design development reports under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Support the preparation of innovative design solutions that meet project requirements and client expectations. Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress,
- Conduct detailed calculations and ensure all electrical designs are technically sound and compliant with industry standards
- Participate in regular reviews and audits of project designs to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with coordinators and other engineering professionals on multidisciplinary projects.
- Finalize design packages
- Provide support in the design and delivery of discipline engineering on multiple projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables, maintaining high standards of quality and technical excellence
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance project quality and efficiency.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in electrical engineering.
- Seek guidance and mentorship from senior engineers to develop technical expertise and professional growth.
Job Requirements
Skills:
- Broad design knowledge from working on a range of projects and using British, US, European, and international codes of practice.
- Experience using common analysis software including Revit, AUTOCAD, ETAP, DIALUX and willing to quickly learn to use new analysis packages as required.
- Well-practiced communication skills.
- Confident and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages may be advantageous for communication with clients and stakeholders.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Professional certification or licensure in electrical engineering is advantageous.
- Minimum of 1-7 years of experience in electrical engineering design, with significant experience in design development and detailed design.
- Experience working on projects including high-rise buildings, healthcare facilities, and hotels
