Site Mechanical Engineer (Light current - Fire Fighting)

Job Description
- Supervise on-site installation of firefighting networks including piping, sprinklers, hose reels, valves, pumps, and related components.
- Carry out pressure testing, flushing, and system balancing according to NFPA and project specs.
- Conduct commissioning of fire pumps , jockey pumps, and their control panels (manual and automatic modes).
- Program and configure fire pump controllers, and ensure seamless operation with fire alarm integration (if applicable).
- Prepare and execute test plans , including final acceptance testing with consultants and authorities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, main contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues and deliver quality work on time.
- Prepare detailed commissioning and test reports , ensure documentation is signed off by all required parties.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering not electrical
- Greater Cairo resident (Cairo – Giza) only can apply
- 3–5 years of experience in Fire Fighting systems installation and commissioning .
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.
- Hands-on experience with fire pump systems , valve control panels, and testing procedures.
- Ability to read mechanical shop drawings and schematics.
- Good communication and site coordination skills.
