Talent Management Manager - Logistics and Transportation | Egypt

The Talent Management Manager will be responsible for leading workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, succession planning, and employee retention for a large, multi-site workforce in Egypt, with a strong focus on high-volume blue-collar recruitment and mandatory safety training for drivers and warehouse employees.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and manage the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring effective recruitment delivery for blue-collar and white-collar positions across all company sites.
• Develop annual workforce plans in collaboration with the HR Director and Operations leaders, aligning hiring and training needs with business expansion, fleet operations, new contracts, and warehouse requirements.
• Own end-to-end recruitment, including requisition management, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and pre-employment checks.
• Build and maintain high-volume recruitment pipelines for drivers, helpers, and warehouse staff through employee referrals, driving schools, technical institutes, job fairs, and governorate-level sourcing.
• Ensure compliance with safety screening requirements for drivers and other safety-critical roles, including licence verification, driving records, practical driving tests, medical fitness, drug screening, and criminal record checks.
• Manage recruitment agencies, job boards, employer branding, and recruitment budgets to ensure efficient and cost-effective hiring.
• Design and oversee structured onboarding programs for office, warehouse, workshop, and driver employees, including safety induction and new-hire follow-up.
• Conduct annual training needs analysis with Operations, Fleet, HSE, and Warehouse teams, and develop training plans and budgets aligned with business requirements.
• Monitor driver training curricula, certification records, and mandatory safety training compliance, ensurng that gaps are addressed before they become safety risks.
• Lead the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals, calibration, and performance improvement plans.
• Develop competency frameworks, career paths, succession plans, and high-potential employee programs to support internal mobility and workforce development.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, conduct exit interviews, analyze turnover trends, and implement retention strategies, particularly for blue-collar and high-turnover employee groups..

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 4 years leading Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, or Performance Management.
• Proven experience managing high-volume blue-collar recruitment for drivers, warehouse staff, or production employees, preferably within a workforce of 500+ employees.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, FMCG, manufacturing, or other operationally intensive industries is highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in workforce planning, recruitment strategy, candidate pipeline development, and end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and white-collar roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing onboarding programs, training plans, performance management cycles, and employee development initiatives.
• Experience developing competency frameworks, career paths, succession plans, and high-potential employee programs.
• Strong knowledge of employee engagement, retention strategies, turnover analysis, and talent reporting.
• Working knowledge of Egyptian Labour Law No. 14 of 2025, particularly as it relates to hiring, probation, and training.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• HR certifications or psychometric assessment qualifications are an advantage.
