What you'll be doing

As HR Operations Lead , you will transform and revamp Macro’s operational backbone, driving employee experience excellence, employee benefits, and end-to-end payroll governance. We are seeking a meticulous, analytical and process-driven leader to optimize personnel operations, champion statutory compliance, and ensure a seamless, high-touch employee experience across the organization.

• Elevate People Experience : Deliver a smooth experience across all employees’ lifecycles including preboarding, onboarding, offboarding, transfers and promotions.

• Safeguard Payroll Accuracy: Ensure timely payroll inputs, rigorous validation, effective controls, and accurate processing.

• Turn Data into Insight: Build dashboards and reports that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for better decisions.

• Champion Compliance: Ensure full alignment with labor, social insurance, taxation, and other government requirements.

• Own Insurance Excellence: Manage medical and life insurance end to end, including enrollment, renewals, claims escalation, utilization, and vendor performance.

• Reimagine Policies and Processes: Simplify and revamp HR Operations policies, workflows, and service standards.

• Accelerate Digitalization: Partner with IT to automate processes, enhance HR systems, and reduce manual work.

• Strengthen Financial Governance: Lead bank coordination and Finance reconciliations related to payroll, benefits, and employee accounts.

• Drive Transformation: Lead initiatives that improve efficiency, governance, scalability, and readiness for business growth.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline.

• 5 – 7 years of progressive HR operations, personnel, and payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or section head role.

• Deep expertise in Egyptian Labor Law, Social Insurance regulations, tax frameworks, and proven experience managing governmental inspections and labor audits.

• Advanced capabilities in HR data analytics, building operational scorecards, tracking HR metrics, and interpreting workforce trends.

• Hands-on mastery of HRIS payroll & personnel modules along with advanced MS Excel proficiency.

• Proven track record in optimizing medical/life insurance schemes, and employee lifecycle workflows.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills to navigate regulatory visits and sensitive employee relations with high integrity.
