Job Description
- Lead and direct the company pricing strategy formulation in accordance with Allianz Group guidelines for the group life LOB, and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
- Review existing processes and advice on processes development and efficiency gains.
- Implementing and drive control cycles to improve portfolio steering, providing meaningful insights to business units.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of group life and pension offers in addition to exploring any opportunity for enhancements.
- Ensure that the company achieves the target bottom line while giving the support to achieve the company's sales targets.
- Modelling and/or analysis of performance for the group life LOB with high ambiguity and complexity with sound understanding of the challenges and considering trends, circumstances, and external information to help the management make key decisions in a timely manner.
- Monitor and ensure effective technical support to the employee benefits team to assist in the achievement of their targets by adequate pricing, and joint visits to the clients/brokers to be acquainted with the market dynamics.
- Provides guidance to direct reports and ensure that the Company goals are cascaded to them and enhancing the pricing processes to make the most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market changes.
- Establish a set of regular performance and planning reports which includes but is not limited to production figures, bottom line contribution and expense management. In addition to reinsurance reports and statistics along with the communication with reinsurers.
- Fundamentally redesign existing tools or tool chains (if necessary, with support from IT experts) and creating new efficient tools fit for purpose from scratch for new challenges.
Job Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in working in a related function.
- Demonstrated ability to structure and lead projects and/or designing pricing tools.
- Several years in respective area (Operations, Pricing).
