Job Purpose

As part of mazeed’s tax team, you’ll provide advisory services to our client portfolio, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws while delivering strategic guidance on transactions, structures and operational matters. The role balances technical tax knowledge with strong client advisory, aiming to optimize tax positions, resolve issues efficiently and contribute to long-term financial and governance goals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage day-to-day direct and indirect tax compliance activities, including data gathering, return preparation, reconciliations, and timely submission support across applicable jurisdictions.

• Advise clients on direct and indirect tax matters, including structuring, transactions, and operational flows, ensuring correct tax treatment and strategic optimization.

• Prepare, review, and support accurate tax filings, reconciliations, and compliance deliverables across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating with client teams to close data gaps.

• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory support, including contract reviews, invoicing flows, and cross-border considerations, to minimize risks and enhance efficiency.

• Contribute to continuous process improvement, tax documentation, governance frameworks, and reporting quality to strengthen client confidence and long-term relationships.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,or a related field.

• Professional qualification or progress toward one is preferred (e.g., ADIT, CPA, ACCA, CA, CTA, or equivalent).

• 5+ years of relevant tax experience in industry, consulting, shared services, or a multinational environment.

• Experience with tax compliance tools, reconciliations, reporting packs, tax return preparation, and documentation review.

• Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations (direct and indirect taxes).

• Advisory and relationship management skills.

• Ability to translate complex tax issues into practical, actionable guidance.

Desireable Skills and Qualifications

• KSA and/or UAE working tax knowledge is advantageous
