Today, we are recruiting for a  Commissioning Technician (Electrical) to join our Rolling Stock team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Perform static and dynamic routine testing on multiple units.
• Conduct repairs in case of failures or malfunctions that impede testing completion.
• Organize and execute switching operations on vehicles in coordination with the Vehicle System Officer.
• Load software according to the Software Loading List.
• Document identified and rectified errors during commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) requirements.
• Promote knowledge sharing within the commissioning team and with interface partners.
• Support information security, data protection, and careful handling of infrastructure and products.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Completed vocational training in electrotechnical or mechatronic fields.
• Certified electrician.
• Strong understanding of technical processes and methodical competence.
• Familiarity with Siemens-specific software and hardware is a plus.
• Independent and reliable work ethic with a collaborative mindset is a must.
• Flexibility to work shifts and rotating schedules.
• Basic proficiency with digital tools (tablets, apps, laptops).
• Fluent in English and Arabic is a must.
