Sukari is located approximately 750km from Cairo and 25km from Marsa Alam on the Red Sea. Sukari conducts both open-pit and underground mining operations, each employing specialized mining methods tailored to the orebody characteristics and operational requirements.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled trainer specializing in Underground Boggers to play a vital role in strengthening underground geological and production capability. This role focuses on coaching, mentoring, and upskilling our national workforce to achieve elite, safe production standards in a complex underground environment.
Location: On-site in Marsa Alam
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Schedule: 20/10 working roster

Key Responsibilities
Technical Training & Coaching: Deliver hands-on field training, classroom instruction, and competency assessments for Underground Bogger/LHD operators, maximizing bucket factors and underground loading efficiencies.
Capability Building: Actively mentor and develop the national Egyptian workforce, building sustainable, high-performing localized teams in line with corporate objectives.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce 100% compliance with site risk assessments, “Take 5” protocols, and isolation standards, embedding a robust safety-first culture.
Process & Workflow Alignment: Ensure all training and operating procedures align seamlessly with global organizational values, technical standards, and site-specific operating approaches.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor operator work quality to optimize ore tracking, minimize dilution, reduce machine wear-and-tear, and prevent unplanned equipment downtime.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of underground mechanized mining experience, with at least 3 years explicitly spent in a dedicated training, mentoring, or supervisory role.
Equipment Mastery: Proven, expert-level competency in operating modern underground loaders/boggers (e.g., CAT R1700/R2900, Sandvik LH517i/LH621i), including tele-remote and autonomous systems.
Qualifications: Certified Trainer/Assessor qualification (or equivalent recognized regional accreditation).
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and motivating skills, with a proven track record of training multi-cultural or national workforces in developing jurisdictions.
Attributes: High energy, commitment, and a hands-on, supportive leadership approach focused on zero-harm.
